{"id":5232,"date":"2021-12-24T02:23:24","date_gmt":"2021-12-23T20:23:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/falseducks.com\/theblahg\/?p=5232"},"modified":"2021-12-30T01:15:56","modified_gmt":"2021-12-29T19:15:56","slug":"the-2021-dead-from-the-neck-up-christmas-special","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/falseducks.com\/theblahg\/?p=5232","title":{"rendered":"THE 2021 DEAD FROM THE NECK UP CHRISTMAS SPECIAL"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 15pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial Rounded MT Bold','sans-serif';\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Well, it&#8217;s December 23rd and I&#8217;m glad to say the 2021 Dead From The Neck Up Christmas Special is in the can. <img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.falseducks.com\/theblahg\/images\/santascott.jpg\" alt=\"Santa Scott\" width=\"154\" height=\"235\" align=\"right\" hspace=\"10\" vspace=\"10\" \/>In my last blahg, <a href=\"https:\/\/falseducks.com\/theblahg\/?p=5206\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BUILDING A CHRISTMAS SPECIAL<\/a>, I posted the sketches I had written and posted my reads on each of them.\u00a0 I mentioned that I was working on an additional sketch but that one didn&#8217;t come together.\u00a0 I did manage to write one more sketch called &#8220;Roy&#8217;s Poultry Outlet&#8221;.\u00a0 That is the last sketch in the Christmas special.\u00a0 I think Stephen Dafoe nailed Roy&#8217;s voice in that one.\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 15pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial Rounded MT Bold','sans-serif';\">\u00a0\u00a0 Here&#8217;s the new special:\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"450\" height=\"350\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/i5TzSrgnU8Q\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 15pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial Rounded MT Bold','sans-serif';\">\u00a0\u00a0 I liked Stephen&#8217;s vocals and I had to record Bryan in person this year.\u00a0 I&#8217;m fairly happy with the show.\u00a0 It&#8217;s tough writing, recording vocals, mixing vocals, and adding all of the music and sound effects.\u00a0 Two years in a row have me wondering if I want to do this again next year.\u00a0 Last year was unique because we hadn&#8217;t done this in 25 years but I had so much fun I decided we should do it again this year.\u00a0 Next year?\u00a0 Too early to tell.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 15pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial Rounded MT Bold','sans-serif';\">\u00a0\u00a0 Well, that&#8217;s it for my quick blahg for this Christmas season.\u00a0 Merry Christmas everyone!<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Well, it&#8217;s December 23rd and I&#8217;m glad to say the 2021 Dead From The Neck Up Christmas Special is in the can.
