line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial Rounded MT Bold','sans-serif';\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0First, let me show you a video I filmed three days ago that shows you what it looks like in my neck of the woods:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Lhog9lj9gVo?si=_-8JJjAUhxtWt1DA\" width=\"450\" height=\"350\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span style=\"display: inline-block; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial Rounded MT Bold','sans-serif';\">I was also suffering from a headache that afternoon, which was worse the next day.\u00a0 I took the 28th off and slept and stayed warm.\u00a0 I was back at work yesterday and today and I&#8217;ll tell you it&#8217;s hard to get motivated when it&#8217;s this cold.\u00a0 In my bathroom, I have an old iPhone I&#8217;ve converted to a music player and listen to it when I&#8217;m showering and shaving in the morning.\u00a0 I keep everything on shuffle so you never know what you&#8217;re going to hear.\u00a0 This morning, in the rotation, I heard two great songs from Bing Crosby that made my mood better.\u00a0 One was from the album, &#8220;Bing With A Beat&#8221; that also featured the great Bob Scobey and his band.\u00a0 I mentioned this album in a blahg I did about Bob Scobey with the title <a href=\"http:\/\/falseducks.com\/theblahg\/?p=4540\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WHAT ON EARTH IS SCOBEYFAN?<\/a>\u00a0 I&#8217;m going to offer up two peppy songs from this great record.\u00a0 The first is &#8220;Last Night On The Back Porch.&#8221;\u00a0 It&#8217;s a swinger.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/fNGMNoO1Rko?si=W3BxD1UNGrDhWerY\" width=\"450\" height=\"350\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span style=\"display: inline-block; by The Weepies.\u00a0 I used to hear this song a lot playing in the background when I was shopping at a local thrift store.\u00a0 I always found it infectious and would always sing along.\u00a0 Instead of offering the recorded version, I thought I would post a live version.\u00a0 Here are The Weepies (Deb Talan, Steve Tannen, Jon Flaugher) performing &#8220;I Was Made for Sunny Days&#8221; on a beautiful summer evening at the Britt Festival, Southern Oregon &#8211; August 23, 2011.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xbF9EzdTB4o\" width=\"450\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 150%;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 15pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial Rounded MT Bold','sans-serif';\">\u00a0 \u00a0Jumping back to some older music, I want to post something from a recent album I received as a late Christmas present.\u00a0 In a previous blahg,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/falseducks.com\/theblahg\/?p=5721\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ANOTHER BAKER\u2019S DOZEN MORE FOUND VINYL RECORDS<\/a> I mentioned that I was hoping to acquire the album, &#8220;The Music Man Goes Dixieland&#8221; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial Rounded MT Bold','sans-serif';\">\u00a0 \u00a0I have also been listening to a lot of Pat Suzuki lately.\u00a0 I had a few songs on my iPhone already but I was recently reading about a 2018 release of the Complete Album Series that comprises all of the tracks from her four albums, &#8220;The Many Sides of Pat Suzuki,&#8221; &#8220;Miss Pony Tail,&#8221; &#8220;Pat Suzuki&#8217;s Broadway &#8217;59,&#8221; and &#8220;Looking at You.&#8221;\u00a0 Here&#8217;s the information about the release: \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.stagedoorrecords.com\/patsuzuki.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.stagedoorrecords.com\/patsuzuki.html<\/a>.\u00a0 There are a couple of extra tracks from the Broadway Cast album of Flower Drum Song.\u00a0 There is also another CD release of Pat Suzuki Singles and Rarities.\u00a0 I really enjoy her singing and it&#8217;s hard to select a single favourite.\u00a0 &#8220;From This Moment On&#8221;
